New sounds appear on TikTok every day, and they can come from just about anything.

The last song to hit everyone’s For You page is “Holy Spirit Activate,” but where did it come from? Let’s find out.

“Holy Spirit Activate” song released on TikTok

This month a new sound appeared on TikTok called “Holy Spirit Activate”.

The oddly catchy song says the words “Holy Spirit activate” over and over again in a weird tune.

It’s used as part of TikTok’s latest viral trend which sees people making hilarious sketches about invoking the Holy Spirit.

For example, when taking an exam or going to an interview, TikTok users joke that they will activate the Holy Spirit for good luck.

Where does it come from?

The song actually comes from a recent episode of the American Celebrity Family Feud quiz.

Last September, members of American pop group Wilson Phillips appeared on the show and gave us one of the most hilarious moments in the show’s history.

When it was Chynna Phillips’ turn to play Family Feud, she turned to religion and began to call on the Holy Spirit to help her find good answers.

She started dancing and composing her own song “Holy Spirit activate”, which has now gone viral on TikTok.

The singing certainly worked too, as the team managed to win $ 25,000 for charity.

Steve Harvey found it hilarious

Family Feud host Steve Harvey couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

“11 years has never happened before,” he said in disbelief.

However, once he got over the shock he then joined in the singing and started dancing.
