WORCESTER, Mass. – The Boston University women’s swimming and diving team closed out the first half of its program with a 194.5-104.5 road win over Holy Cross at the Hart Center on Saturday afternoon.
First-year student Ashley Scafetta and senior Sézin Eligul swam to two wins apiece while a senior Emilie Balicanta swept the diving events. Five sophomores – Ellie Graves, Clarisse Hoyt, madison kim, Lara Mitchell, Sydney Sorbello – Senior Francesca Leung and freshman Stephanie Liu each picked up a win in the duel to help the Terriers tie their record at 3-3.
The Terriers now stand at an even 3-3 on the year. The team will take a six-week break before returning to action Jan. 15 when it visits Colgate.
