Men’s swimming and diving topped Holy Cross, 193-96.
Will Layden broke two program records in the Friars’ last home meeting of the season.

Providence, RI – The Providence College men’s swimming and diving team hosted Holy Cross in the team’s last home meet of the season. The Brothers set four program records en route to defeat the Crusaders, 173-96. McGovern Brown, Kevin Hood, Justin viotto, and Andrew Ferrell opened the competition with a program record of 3: 53.11 in the 400-meter medley relay. Will Layden set new records in the 100-meter freestyle (51.97) and 100-meter backstroke (57.78). In the last meet of the day – the 400-meter freestyle relay – Will Layden, Preston Jennings, Max smith and Jacob Conway improved the team’s record by hitting the wall in 3: 33.75.
