Following the Masses, the schools individually streamed an online presentation on the innovation from Dr. Helen Turner at Chaminade and Jayne Mondoy from the diocese’s faith formation office. This year’s Ka Ho’oulu Innovation Awards from Catholic Schools of Hawaii and Chaminade University were presented to St. Joseph Waipahu School for its social-emotional learning programs and Devin Oshiro, principal of Saint Louis school.
