Worshipers are informed of Holy Week services taking place at Holy Trinity Scottish Episcopal Church.
The church, in Fullarton Street, Ayr, South Ayrshire, has released a list of services taking place throughout the week.
The dates and times are as follows:
*Monday April 11, 2:30 p.m. – Lenten collective Eucharist.
*Tuesday April 12, 7 p.m. – Stations of the Cross. A prayer and meditation service for Holy Week.
*Wednesday April 13, 11 a.m. – Eucharist.
*Maundy Thursday, April 14, 7 p.m.- Maundy Thursday Eucharist. A service that commemorates the night when Jesus gave us Holy Communion, and when we remember the events of that night with the church being stripped and a silent vigil kept.
*Good Friday, April 15, 12 p.m. – The Three Hours with Good Friday Liturgy, a service of music, prayer and meditation for Good Friday.
*Saturday April 16, 7 p.m. – Eucharist of the Easter Vigil. A service that welcomes and celebrates Easter and the victory of God’s life, light and love.
*Easter Sunday, April 17 – 10:30 a.m. – Eucharist and Baptism. A special Eucharist sung with a baptism to celebrate Easter Sunday. 6 p.m. – Choir Vespers.
A traditional service, led by the choir, to celebrate the great feast of Easter.
