ELYSBOURG – The Queen of the Most Holy Rosary parish will hold its first Christmas bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
“Our pastor, Reverend Joseph Scanlin has been pushing for a bazaar for quite some time! He loves Advent and Christmas, for obvious reasons,” said parish leader Sheila Olsheskie. “We decided to follow his idea and here we are! Forty artisans and vendors, a cookie walk and raffle sponsored by our Relay For Life team, visits from Santa, delicious food to eat in or take out, ethnic baked goods such as rolls with walnuts and poppy seeds and kolachy.
