Holy Cross Women’s Tennis Blanks, 7-0

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Providence College women’s tennis team put in a big effort against Holy Cross on Monday, beating the Crusaders 7-0 in the final game of the 2021 regular season.

The Friars swept away all the matches of the day, including all the singles matches in straight sets. Haley Gurski swept away his opponent, scoring 6-0 wins in both sets.

“We’ve been working hard all season and it feels good to end the regular season with a win,” said the head coach Jakob klaeson. “Now we will be turning our attention to a talented team from Creighton in the BIG EAST Championships and we are delighted with this opportunity.”

Providence is scheduled to compete on Thursday (April 22) at the BIG EAST Championships in Cayce, SC. The brothers will face Creighton starting at 9 a.m.
