Holy Cross wins Patriot title, crushes Bucknell 45-6

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) – Marco Siderman threw two touchdowns and Kamryn Molton returned a 45-yard interception for a score as Holy Cross passed Bucknell 45-6 on Saturday to sweep his Patriot League schedule.

The Crusaders (9-2) won their third straight Patriot League title and advance to the FCS playoffs.

Matthew Sluka put the Crusaders on the board with 6:16 left in the first quarter on a four-yard throw to Tenio Ayeni and Peter Oliver made it 14-0, scoring from 1 on the last play of the first quarter.

Siderman threw his two touchdowns at Justin Shorter, the first with a connection from 36 yards to make it 20-0. Molton caught a pass from Ethan Grady with 3:30 left in the second quarter and Derek Ng added a 36-yard basket before intermission.

Jonathan Abrams went for 80 yards 10 times to lead a Holy Cross rushing game that reached 301 yards.

Nick Semptimphelter threw Bucknell’s lone touchdown, hitting Mason Muir with a 23-yard pass with 2:09 left in the third quarter.

The Bison (1-10, 0-5) were limited to just 87 offensive yards.
