THE SERIES
The Bulldogs are 3-9 against the Crusaders. The last clash in 2019 resulted in an 87-75 loss on the road. Alana Perkins led the way for the Bulldogs with a career-high 21 points. Perkins went 6-for-8 from the three-point line.

Holy Cross enters tomorrow’s game 2-3. The Crusaders beat Connecticut College in their most recent game by a score of 79-36. Ezemma Oluchi was the game’s leading scorer with 21 points. Oluchi leads the Patriot League in field goal percentage (62.2%).

WHAT THERE IS TO KNOW

  • Six members of the Black and Gold hit double digits on Wednesday for the first time in the history of the DI program. Juliette Golden (20), Brooke Bjelko (18), Perkins (18), Nicole Gallagher (15), Mariona Planes Fortuny (15) and Blanca Chasco with 13 points. Golden, Fortuny and Chasco have reached career highs.
  • Bjelko currently leads the Northeastern Conference in rebounds (47) and rebounds per game at 7.8.
  • Bryant distributed the ball well, as they lead the NEC in assists (90) and assists per game (15.0).
  • Fortuny topped the paint this year as she posted 54.8% and 7.0 percent field goal and ppg ratings.
  • Gallagher is currently shooting 100% on the charity strip this season (10-10).
