The former dean of Boston College Law School joined Holy Cross as the first black president and first lay person. He succeeded Reverend Philip L. Boroughs, SJ, who announced in September 2020 that he would step down at the end of June 2021, after a successful presidency of nearly a decade. Read more.

The scholarship will allow Professor Selina Gallo-Cruz to examine how different cities are engaging in global models to address the many challenges posed by climate change, bringing together observations from Worcester, Mass. and Tampere, Finland. Read more.

Holy Cross begins the fall semester with hope and resilience

The 2021-22 academic year began with not one, but two moving days. The freshmen of the Class of 2025 moved in on Saturday, August 28, and on Sunday, August 29, the Class of 2024 participated in their long-awaited move-in day, which was postponed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more.
